Day 1 – Montevideo to Punta del Este  

Arrive to Carrasco Airport  Transfer by regular bus to Punta del Este (approx. 1.5 hours drive away)  At the bus terminal in Punta del Este, you will board a private transfer with a guide, that’ll drive you to the chosen Hotel.  Accommodation is for 2 nights with breakfast included. Check in at the Hotel and take the rest of the day at your leisure to rest or walk around.  

Day 2 – Punta del Este  

Pick up from your hotel’s lobby to take the Regular Punta del Este City Tour.    
The tour will start by driving through the city's residential districts as it takes you to the magnificent beach areas of Playa Mansa and Playa Brava.  It will then drive through the tree-lined residential districts of San Rafael, Cantegril and Beverly Hills, where you will be able to appreciate some of the beautiful mansions and well-tended private gardens. Your route will also take you by the Tudor-styled San Rafael Hotel & Casino. Punta del Este is a quite famous South American seaside resort and the playground of the regional and international jet set as well as a world renowned site for film festivals and international conferences.  Often referred to as the “St. Tropez of Uruguay”, this popular resort area, with its miles of pristine beaches, is a regional and international favourite. One interesting feature of Punta del Este is that visitors can actually see the sunrise and sunset in the same waters due to its location on a peninsula that extends into the ocean.  A brief photo stop will be made at Punta Ballena for a panoramic view of the coast including Casapueblo, the Moroccan style atelier and home of renowned Uruguayan Artist Carlos Páez Vilaró (entrance fee not included). The bus will return you to your hotel.   

Day 3 – Punta del Este to Montevideo  

After breakfast, check out from your hotel and a private transfer will drive you to the Bus Terminal to take a regular bus to Montevideo. A private transfer with a guide will welcome you at the Montevideo Bus Terminal and take you to your chosen Hotel.   Accommodation is for 3 nights with breakfast included.  Check in and take the rest of the day at your leisure for resting or walking around.   
Montevideo & Punta del Este 05 Nights 
 
Day 4 - Montevideo  

You will be picked up from your hotel (meet in the hotel’s lobby) to take the Regular Montevideo City Tour.  
This tour will allow you to enjoy Montevideo’s monuments, parks and gardens. The main points of interest are, the Old City, Constitution Square, the Cathedral and Colonial Town Hall, Solis Theatre, Independence Square at the center of which stands a monument and mausoleum dedicated to the country’s national hero, José Gervasio Artigas. Across from the square, is the Government House (Presidents Museum) to one side, the start of pedestrian street Sarandí into the Old City and the end of the main commercial avenue downtown, 18 de Julio, lined with shops , cafés and office buildings.   
Next, the tour continues towards the Parliament for a photo stop of its marvelous exterior. This immense building is the pride of Uruguay. It was constructed between 1908 and 1925 with local marble of 52 colours and 12 types of wood.  An visit to the Parliament’s interior is optional and for a fee).  The drive continues to Batlle & Ordoñez Park, passing by the Obelisk, La Carreta (Covered Wagon) monument and the Soccer Stadium.   Heading East, the drive will take you to the residential area of Carrasco.  On the way, you will stop at the Virgilio Square (Plaza Virgilio) for a privileged panoramic view of the coast and the city; a great spot for photographs.  The square has a monument dedicated to the Fallen Navy . Return to town is along the coast and the city beaches.    

Day 5 - Montevideo  

Day at your leisure for resting or walking around.  

Day 6 – Depart Uruguay  

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and a private transfer will take you to the Carrasco International Airport.
