(Flight arrival at TGZ airport has to be latest 12:59pm, midday). Welcome at airport TGZ by your local English speaking tour guide, and departure from airport to reach the village of Chiapa de Corzo on the shore of river Grijalva. Step here on a boat to enter the impressing Sumidero Canyon, with walls of over 1000m height on both side of the water. Have an interesting view also on the local flora and fauna, with orchids and crocodiles. In the afternoon, proceed to reach the highlands of Chiapas, and its economic and cultural center with the city of San Cristobal de las Casas. Here, you feel the still strongly existing influence of aborigine culture in the daily life and movements.

INDIAN VILLAGES – SAN CRISOBAL DE LAS CASAS  (Brf)

 Morning visit of the Indian villages of San Juan Chamula and Zinacantan near San Cristobal. Bizarre rites and deeply religious people, old prehispanic believes and Christianity – an  amazing melting of expressions, which make this visit an extraordinary one. Rest of the day at leisure.

SAN CRISTÓBAL DE LAS CASAS – AGUA AZUL – PALENQUE (Brf)

in the morning, proceed to enter the mountain region of Chiapas. On the way to Palenque, reach the waterfalls of Agua Azul. Step of the van to have a visit walk through this paradise like site. The water falls over terraces which cover a total length of over 7kms. The almost blue color of the water is amazing, and the basin and stone formation from the water’s power over the thousands of years are incomparable. Afternoon proceeding for Palenque. Arrival there at hotel for check-in, and rest of the day at leisure.

PALENQUE – CAMPECHE  (Brf)

Morning visit of the arch. Site of Palenque: wonderfully nestled in the tropical jungle, with the mountains in the background, and the front view over the great plains of Tabasco State, Palenque is really a unique visit site. Remaining from the Mayan culture, you will see the Pyramid of the Inscriptions, the Governor’s Palace and Observatory complex with its ornamented stuccos, as well as the small temples of the Cross Group, which allow a wonderful view over the complete site. Late morning departure from Palenque and drive to Campeche. On the way, have a pleasant stop at beautiful Gulf Coast of Mexico. Afternoon city walk in Campeche, with its historical center (UNESCO World Cultural Heritage) full of colorful houses, surrounded by the colonial city wall and defense towers from the era, when Campeche had to defend itself against often attacks from pirates. Evening at leisure in Campeche.

Departure to Uxmal “the three times built” to know the Guesser Pyramid, the Quadrangle of the Nuns, Governor’s Palace & the Ballgame Court. Early afternoon arrival in Merida, the so called “White City", to enjoy a panoramic view: Montejo Avenue, the monument to Motherland, the Main Square, the Cathedral & Government Palaces.
