Day 1: ARRIVE IN HANOI

Arrive in Hanoi, transfer to the hotel. Hanoi, Vietnam's capital, a stylish and gracious city that retains an unique old world charm and some of Asia's most striking colonial architecture, many peaceful lakes, parks and oriental temples making for a relaxing atmosphere. Take a short sightseeing tour by cyclo through the bustling old quarter streets.

Day 2: HANOI (B)

Explore this one thousand year old capital city with the mausoleum of the nation's founder Ho Chi Minh (close on Monday & Friday), the Presidential Palace, the Ho Chi Minh's house on stilts, the One Pillar Pagoda, the Temple of Literature, the Museum of the Ethnology, the West Lake, Tran Vu Pagoda, the Lake of the Restored Sword and Ngoc Son Temple.

Day 3: HANOI – HA LONG – HANOI (B)

In the morning we depart for Halong. We embark on a 4-hour boat for an exploration of the legendary Halong Bay, Vietnam's most impressive scenic sights, a recognized World Natural Heritage Site. This exciting cruise will provide us a fantastic view of the picturesque scenery, skyline with over 3,000 limestone islets rising fantastically from the clear and emerald water.

Afternoon ,return to Hanoi.

Day 4: HANOI - DA NANG - HOI AN (B)

Morning transfer to Noi Bai airport for flight to Danang then transfer to Hoi An town, a recognized World Heritage Site. Stop in Danang to visit the famous China Beach and Cham Museum which contains the finest collection of Cham sculpture in the world. Visit this ancient town: the 200 year-old Tan Ky house, Phuc Kien Pagoda, the Assembly Hall, the former merchants’ houses, the 400 year-old Japanese Covered Bridge and the colourful riverside market. Overnight in Hoi An.

 

Day 5: HOI AN – HUE (B)

Morning drive to Hue, vietnam's last feudal capital where Nguyen Dynasty once ruled Vietnam during period 1802 - 1945. This small and quiet city is well-known for magnificent architecture, pagodas and royal tombs laid in small villages and surrounding hills. Upon arrival in Hue, transfer to the hotel for check in.

In the afternoon, visit the Imperial Citadel, the Purple Forbidden City, the Mausoleum of Emperor Tu Duc and the bustling Dong Ba market.

Overnight in Hue.

 

Day 6: HUE – HO CHI MINH (B)

Mornings enjoy a cruise on the romantic Perfume River to visit Hue’s oldest and most revered site Thien Mu Pagoda, then the Mausoleum of Emperor Minh Mang.

Afternoon flight to Ho Chi Minh city, the most exciting city of Vietnam, a mecca of commerce, also a city with a chequered history and a rich culture, its pagodas, museums, public buildings, parks and boulevards make it one of the most delightful places to visit in Vietnam. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel for check in.

Day 7: HO CHI MINH CITY (B)

A full day city tour of the dynamic Ho Chi Minh (formerly called Saigon) including Chinatown, Thien Hau pagoda, Binh Tay market, Notre-Dame Cathedral, Old Saigon Post Office, Reunification Palace, Historical Museum, War Crime Museum and Vinh Nghiem Pagoda.

Day 8: HO CHI MINH CITY – DEPARTURE (B)

Free at leisure until transfer to the airport for flight back home.
