​Day1 Airport to Colombo

  • Arrive at airport in Sri Lanka
  • Meet, Greet and assist at the Airport
  • Transfer to Hotel in Colombo
  • Overnight at Hotel

Day 2 Airport to Dambulla

  • Breakfast at Hotel
  • Proceed to Dambulla/Sigiriya - two UNESCO World Heritage Sites
  • En route visit the Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage, home to approx 60 elephants. Watch the baby elephants play and bathe in the river; watch them being fed, or feed them yourself (optional).
  • Reach Dambulla and check in at Hotel
  • Evening  climb Sigiriya Rock Fortress enjoying magnificent views, visit the Frescoes inside the fortress and be marveled by the wonder of this ancient “cloud swept city”
  • Return to hotel for overnight

Day 3 Dambulla

  • Breakfast at Hotel and  proceed to Polannaruwa
  • Optional sightseeing at Polonnaruwa – another ancient city in Sri-Lanka’s “Cultural Triangle”. The awe-inspiring architecture, rock carvings and murals of this ancient kingdom is reflective of its intriguing history. Notable sites include The Citadel, which are the remains of the Royal Palace, The Quadrangle of temples and shrines and the Polonnaruwa Museum
  • Visit to Hiriwaduna village - experience the charm & simplistic beauty of this archetypal village
  • Overnight at Hotel

Day 4 Dambulla to Kandy

  • Breakfast at hotel  and proceed to Kandy
  • Visit Dambulla Cave Temple
  • En-route to Kandy visit the Spice Gardens in Matale to learn about the exotic spices grown in the region
  • Late afternoon reach Kandy, known to be the center for the Arts in Sri-Lanka
  • Visit Kandy Tooth Relic Temple
  • Attend a Folklore show with Kandyan dancers and drummers, fire-walk performances ,  in the evening
  • Overnight at Hotel

Day 5 Kandy to Nuwara Eliya

  • Breakfast at Hotel and proceed to Nuwara Eliya
  • Optional visit to Peradeniya Botanical Gardens – one of the finest in Asia, which dates back to the 14th century
  • Journey up through the hills, passing waterfalls (Ramboda Falls), pine and eucalyptus forests and vast green tea estates. Many optional photo stops en-route.
  • Visit a tea factory, where you will not only enjoy a cup of freshly brewed Ceylon tea but will also have the opportunity to witness the intricacies involved in its manufacturing process.
  • By late afternoon, reach Nuwara Eliya, the “city above the clouds” at 1980m above sea level. A golf course, race course for horse racing, English country style cottages and planters bungalows are all witnesses of its colonial past.
  • Check in at hotel – relax at leisure

Day 6 Nuwara Eliya

Day 7 Nuwara Eliya to Bentota

  • Proceed to Bentota via Kitulgala
  • Check in at Hotel
  • Relax and enjoy the evening on the beach

Day 8 Bentota

  • Optional Visit to moonstone mines
  • Return to Hotel for overnight

Day 9 Bentota to Airport Via Colombo

  • Breakfast at Hotel
  • Proceed to Airport
  • Optional Visit to turtle hatchery
  • Optional river safari at Madu Ganga
  • City tour of Colombo commencing with a visit to the Fort and the Pettah commercial hub with offices and shopping areas located amidst oldest colonial hotel GOH. It has a fantastic view of the Colombo harbour, lighthouse with clock tower (older than Big Ben in London) close to the president’s house and old parliament. Afterwards, proceed through the main street passing the old Dutch Museum, belfry and old City Hall which houses puppets of earlier governors of Sri Lanka, Grand Red Mosque and Sea Street Hindu Temple). 
  • Stop will be made at the Old Dutch hospital with shops and restaurants facing Sri Lanka’s twin tower buildings. Continue to the old race course with a maze of buildings with colonial architecture, restaurants and shopping arcade passing through Colombo City Hall
  • Evening before dinner visit to floating market to view Colombo by night before proceeding to airport for late night departure
